It's Transfer Week Again!

It's transfer week again! We found out that Elder Brumwell and I will be staying another transfer here in the Snow ward together!! I am so excited to stay here and with him. We get along super well and he's super bomb! Pretty much the entire district is staying the same for this next transfer expect for Sister Gardner is going home to North Dakota and Elder Dean is going to Palmdale.

It's been so weird this transfer because one of the Sisters that came into the mission field with me (Sister Rakes) is going home in 2 days! She would normally be going home next transfer but she's going home early for school. The other Sister (Sister Crowley) is going home next transfer. It makes me feel old...haha. I've almost been out for 18 months! 😱😂 It's crazy!

We went on exchanges again this week!! I went with our district leader Elder Lambert! We went to Buttonwillow! Which is about a 30 drive from Bakersfield. It's the ghetto part of our area haha. The second person we talked to there was Jose. He was super bomb he likes talking about God and Jesus and wants to read the Book of Mormon. He also had some kids that wanted to read it too. We told the kids about a cool story in the Book of Mormon about Nephi cutting off the head of Laban. Haha they thought it was cool. Also the next people we talked to was Jason and his mom Selsa. They are super awesome! Selsa spoke mostly Spanish and understood little english so Jason was translating for us. We challenged Jason to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. We referred them to the Spanish Elders because they spoke mostly Spanish. The Elders went over on Saturday and said that they want to come to church and they said if they like it they will join!!😂 They are golden!!

On Monday we played frisbee golf! It was super fun! There's an 18 hole course in the Meadow Elders area. We did that for our district activity.
