17 Months!!!
It’s been 17 months today!! So weird...doesn't feel nearly that long. This last Monday was a blast! We played Slenderman/Five Nights at Freddie's. We went to one of our church buildings and shut off all the lights and made as dark as we could and blocked a lot of the windows with blankets. And then we went around with flashlights trying to find 4 of a certain number that you are assigned to. And while doing that you have to run from Slenderman and Freddie.
Today we are going to play frisbee golf as a district! Apparently there is a frisbee golf course in our district leader's area with 18 holes haha. And then afterwards I guess his member is gonna feed all of us. So it should be pretty fun.
The last couple days have been kind of rough. I have had a sore throat, a bad cough, and stuffy nose. It's getting better now though. I took Nyquil and fell asleep pretty fast last night. It should be wearing off soon.
Last night we had a really unique and cool meeting that our Stake President and Mission President set up. They had the missionaries in the zone come with their ward mission leaders. We watched some videos and President Layton presented some ways we could better help the work move forward. He gave us a couple sheets of paper with ideas on them that would better help us work with members in the ward. I'm excited to start trying them out. One way Elder Brumwell and I want to try is to find out who is assigned to speak in Sacrament the next couple of weeks and go and invite them to invite their friends to come hear them speak!
Sister Gardner (one of the sisters in our district) is going home at the end of this transfer so we had donuts at the end of her last district meeting on Friday and took some pictures. It was pretty bomb.
