Baptism!!!!!
Well this week has been one to remember!! To start off we played card games with the zone on Monday. We played Uno and apples to apples! On Tuesday we had interviews with President and Sister Layton. Afterwards President interviewed Brandie and Elder Pixton interviewed Brandon. It went super well. We had a lesson with Brandon and Brandie the next day. We talked about Temples and preparing to get a recommend and preparing for the priesthood.
Friday we went on exchanges with Elder Pixton and Elder Holland. Earlier in the week I got an ingrown toenail. Elder Franklin helped me get it fixed so it's healing right now. But it hurt sooo bad! It's all good now though.
We had family game night Friday night. It was super fun. Since we were on exchanges the Zone Leaders came as well. We played a card game called Rage. It's pretty fun. A member brought and said that the the card game has been out since she was a kid so it's not in stores right now. It definitely earns it's name. It makes you angry for sure haha!
So on Saturday we had the baptism. Their friend Eric came from Chowchilla, CA to baptize them. It went pretty well. The only hang up we had was trying to get into the baptismal closets because we didn't have the key. But eventually we got in and it all worked out. Then the next day they were confirmed. The Spirit was so strong!!
Sunday night we finally got back in touch with Alison Schmidt (an old investigator) and she was super excited to see us and expressed her desire to get baptized. So we're gonna start her lessons this week.
Well it was an exciting week!! I love hearing from everyone every week! Thank you! Keep them coming!
