11 Months!!!
Hellooo!!!!!!! Well this week has been pretty exciting!!! Some miracles!!! I've been out for 11 months!!! It's crazy!! It definitely doesn't feel like that long at all...soon it'll be a year. Anyway...this last Monday we played a little bit of soccer and just hung out with our District Leader Elder Tolman and his comp Elder Spunaugle. They're really awesome. Spunaugle is hilarious.
So we met with Cheryl 3 times this week!! We taught her the Plan of Salvation and talked about 3 Nephi chap. 11. It was awesome! She definitely felt the Spirit. We are going to try to start scheduling the building for her baptism and announcing it in Sacrament next Sunday. Yesterday a random girl from Nigeria showed up to Sacrament. Her name is Doja (D-ooo-sshhh-a). She wanted to find her own church and saw ours when she was exercising across the street at a park. We met her at church and met with and taught her the Restoration later in the night. It was super awesome. She seems super baptism ready. We are going to try and set her with a baptismal date next time we met with her.
On Saturday night we were over at a members helping him with service. About 20 mins after we went back inside it starting raining HARD. It was crazy. There was quite a bit of lightening too. It was really cool to see haha. Also Friday night the Avila family had a birthday party for her daughter Jocelyn. They invited us. It was super fun. They had a DJ and everything haha.
Anyway that's my report for this week. I love and miss you all!! Have a bomb week!
