Another Week of Miracles!

Another day in the life of being a missionary!! A lot of stuffs happened this week. This last Monday we went on a hike up in Leona Valley which is the area I started my mission in! So that was cool. One of the sisters in our district, Sister Hutchinson, is going home on Wednesday so today's here last Monday. We let her decide what the district is going to do for a district activity today. I guess she chose to watch Meet the Mormon's. So we might do that. It should be fun.

We haven't been able to meet with Heather this week...she seems to just be busy and/or avoiding us. We'll still try a couple more times though. We'll see what happens. We've been able to give out A LOT of Book of Mormons this week which is always awesome! We've been tracting a lot this week. We got a referral from some of the Elders in our zone about a guy named Tony. They didn't give us an exact address of where he lived but they gave us a street. So we went knocking on that street. We ended up meeting a lady named Meaghan (Megan that's just how you spell it I guess). She's seems super cool and said she likes learning about religion. And that's all we need! 😁 But after that we were walking down the street and a car pulled over in front of us and a guy got out and asked for a card. He introduced himself as Tony! It was super cool! He said he just moved from LA and that the missionaries used to come over and do service for him. He told us to come by this Wednesday. It should be good!

We also got a referral from some Sisters in our zone. I guess he's super solid and wanting to get baptized. His name is Lloyd. We're super excited to teach him!

Elder Jones had a spill on his bike earlier this week! We went to the doctor because his wrist has been bothering him. They took some x-rays and still haven't got back to us with the results. He seems fine though. Might just be a sprain.

We had Stake Conference this week! It was super awesome! We had our 2nd Councilor to the mission presidency there. President Giuria and his wife. It was super cool. We had a lot of powerful speakers there. The theme was mostly on the temple and repentance it seemed.

Anyway that was my week! I love and miss you all! Have an amazing week!

Love, Elder Peterson

Favorite scripture of the week: Alma 48:17

17 Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men.
