6 New Investigators with a desire to know the truth!
Another week gone by! How is everyone? It's been great to hear from lots of people! This week has been great! We've found lots of people that have a desire to know the truth! We found six new investigators this week again. A couple of our prime investigators are June Snow and Zach & Lexi Brown. They are both awesome!
June is in her 60's and is a hyper awesome lady. She likes the church and loves our teachings. She has a baptismal date for May 20th. She has a lot of faith but doesn't necessary like the Relief Society part of it. She thinks that men and women should be doing things together and not be in there on classrooms and groups. Even though they are a lot of the time. But it's a minor problem that she isn't too concerned about. Zach and Lexi are awesome. We meet them tracting. We knocked on their door and he asked us some questions about what we believed. He had looked at some anti-mormon sites previously so he was asking us a lot of questions to see if they were true. We taught them a little bit of the Restoration. They had a hard time thinking that there is a modern prophet on the earth today but they invited us back for dinner last week! We went back and it was awesome! We taught them some of the Plan of Salvation before we had to go. They seem to really like it. They invited us back for dinner this week as well.
We've been tracting a lot and found quite a few awesome people. We found a lady named Newvia she was really cool. We talked to her on her doorstep while she was waiting for her kids to get home from school. Before we knocked the next door neighbors backyard gate was open and there HUGE dog ran out and stood there and barked at us, looking like it was going to attack us. But instead it stopped barking and just walked back into the backyard. So I'm pretty sure someone was watching over us haha. That someone being God!
Last Monday we went to the institute that's right next to the stake center and played pool, ping pong, and fooseball with Elder Watkins and Elder Adams. It was fun! We'll probably be doing the same thing today. So we are working on getting more appointments with investigators this week!
Anyway I love you all and miss you soooo much!!
