Christmas Party/Blessings and 14 Months tomorrow!
We had a ward Christmas party this week! It was a lot of fun! Heather came!! She came a little late so we were already sitting down with the Slayton family and she just came up and sat down saying "What up playa's!" Haha it was pretty funny. She seemed to enjoy it a lot and she even helped clean up afterwards! She met the Bishop and some other ward members and seemed comfortable. She's kind of dodgy though. She came to that but didn't come to church yesterday. We think it might just be because she has a hard time waking up or some other reason. But we'll figure it out!
This last Monday we didn't end up going bowling because it's closed until later in the day on Monday's I guess haha. So we just went to stores that we needed to get some things from and that was the most of our Pday. We went to our Bishop's house for dinner that night and earlier in the week we meet with him in his office and asked him if we could have blessings to help know how to be more effective missionaries in his ward. He gave us a blessing and we talked afterwards. The Spirit was super strong. He's a super great Bishop and definitely loves the missionaries in his ward.
We've been trying to have lessons with investigators we haven't seen in a little bit but haven't had much success. We have found a couple people that seem like they are pretty interested. One of them her name is Amy. We knocked on her door and she immediately was like "Hi I'm Amy!" and shook our hands (which is not normal). We had a good discussion with her and she was excited to read the BoM. We are hopefully gonna meet with her soon!

This picture really hit home. Kim and her cute family are dear friends here in Herriman. She frequently goes to Lancaster, CA to visit her sweet family and found this cute Elder at their ward
