Another week gone by! It's been a good one! Last Monday was a less productive Monday funwise. No one really had anything going that we all wanted to do so we got together with the Bakersfield 1st Elders. Which is Elder Burhans, Brumwell, and Duncan (they are in a 3 person companionship now). I'll send pictures of them. They call themselves the three amigos haha. They all got cowboy hats. We went with them to a cave they knew of to explore it. They thought it'd be a lot bigger than it actually was...it was still fun though! It was right next to a whindy road so we had to run before a car came to get to it haha.

We taught Sister Gaede's nephews again this week, Logan and Trevor. We taught them the Plan of Salvation. Sister Gaede sat in on the lesson because she admitted that she has forgotten some of it. It's been a little difficult to catch their attention. They go on tangents about superheros and stuff a lot but we usually can keep their attention most the time. At least Logan's haha. Also every Friday we have dinner with the Utley's and teach Jacob. We taught him the Plan of Salvation as well. His parents have taught him everything already since he's grown up so he knew most of what we had to say anyway. He's really cool. The Utley's are my favorite family here so far. Oh and just in case I didn't make it known before...there are two different Utley's in our ward. There are my favorite Utley's (Uncle Buster) and then their are the Utley's nephew Gordon and his wife Claudia. They are the ones we have dinner with every Friday and it's their son Jacob that we are teaching.
Later in the week our bishop, Bishop Jacobus called us and said he had a referral for us. He said that the mom (Sister Franko) is a member and that she wants her kids to get baptized/they want to too. Her boys names are Johnny (14) and Carlos (8). We met them on Saturday night and just got to know them. They are a really cool family and Sister Franko is hilarious. She made sure to explain to us that she is not like every other woman out there. She HATES drama. She said she is basically a man in a woman's body haha. They came to church the next day and we sat next to them. A Sister was giving a talk in Sacrament meeting and Sister Franko couldn't stand the drama so they left during the session. We didn't think it was that bad but apparently it's that bad haha.

We had Zone Conference this week on Wednesday. There was a couple new missionaries. There was a new one there sitting right behind me. They stood up and introduced themselves and where they were from and he said he was from Herriman, Utah!! His name is Elder Rinlasbacher. (not sure if that's how you spell it exactly). I talked to him after and he said he went to Herriman High and that he lived right behind the Chevron down the street from Smiths! So I don't know if Kassi or someone knew him. I didn't get his first name...but he was blonde. So that was awesome!

But anyway, that's all for this week I think. Today we are going to a place where they have beach volleyball! We are doing it as a district activity so it should be way fun! I miss and love you all!!!!
